It's being reported that the Liberal Democrat candidate for Great Grimsby, Steve Beasant, says a party leadership election is on the cards, whether Nick Clegg keeps his seat or not. Many have Cumbrian Tim Farron as leadership contender if, as expected, he retains Westmorland and Lonsdale. Mr Farron's a former chairman of the party.
Former Scottish secretary Michael Moore says he is unlikely to retain Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk, a seat the Liberal Democrats have held for 50 years.

There has been an issue in Cockermouth regarding the parish elections in the Christ Church and Double Mills wards.
It does not affect the parliamentary or the borough elections. The Harris Park polling station was dealing with elections for both parish wards.
It was mistakenly only issued with papers for the Christ Church ward, which were issued to all voters before 1pm, when the error was reported to the acting returning officer.
This means those who live in the Double Mills ward have not voted for the candidates for that ward. Andrew Seekings, acting returning officer, will meet with candidates today to discuss the issue and the best way forward.
He apologised for the error and said it may mean there will not be results announced for Double Mills or Christ Church later today.
He reiterated that this error does not affect the borough or parliamentary elections.
Turnout for Westmorland and Lonsdale confirmed as 74.48 per cent - below 2010 figure of 75.8 per cent. A total of 49,052 verified votes cast in constituency. Now the sorting and counting begins...
Counting has just begun at Workington. There's still verification going on as well though.
RESULT: Nuneaton: CONS HOLD
Allerdale council has confirmed that for a brief period this evening the polling station at Victoria Hall in Cockermouth ran out of ballot papers. Replacements were sent by car and voters were promised that if they returned before 10pm they would be able to vote.
Speaking at the Westmorland and Lonsdale count in Kendal, Lib Dem Tim Farron says it would be wrong to speculate on his party's predicted collapse.
He was, however, less guarded about his own chances of retaining the seat he has held since 2005.
"It feels alright, but we'll see," he said. "It's been a good campaign but we know nothing officially yet."
