Scrum is still near Navvies - we saw Ryan Askew nip out of scrum and leg it sharpish so we followed. He's turned off Northside so we think either we've been fooled and he's gone home or he's hiding it. We're trying to find out

No one knows where the ball is - we think Ryan Askew is taking it to the docks but no one is sure.

TJ - Scrum was happily scrumming by Navvies Bridge. Ryan Askew with others take off suddenly, followed by the Times & Star's intrepid Tom and John. Ryan et al turn off towards Northside. Tom and John go back to scrum and the ball is lost....

Crack now is lad called Bomber has it and he is going down..... Ryan definitely does not have it. John sitting on dock of bay, like Marvin Gaye, just waiting for the ball.

We don't know where the ball is. Looks like Downies bluffed the Uppies and have managed to get it away from the scrum so no one knows who has got it or where it is. We THINK Ryan Askew OR a lad called Bomber have it, but that is unconfirmed. No one has hailed the ball and it's not at the docks yet......
